Translate a slide

Type the translation over the English, field by field, and save as you go.

  1. Choose the language from the language button. A blue bar confirms which language you're editing, and that English won't change.
  2. Go to a slide. If it hasn't been translated, each field shows the English greyed out, so you can see the layout.
  3. Click a field and type the translation over the English. The English stays underneath each field, marked EN, for reference.
  4. Save with Save translation, ⌘ S, or by clicking away.

There's no separate step to create a translation. The first time you save a field in a language, that slide gets a translation. Saving again updates it. Nothing is saved until you type something.

When you save, a message confirms the language and how many slides are now translated. Choose Next untranslated › to go to the next slide still missing text.
