Move learners to a different module

Move people forwards or back in a course when they have done the training elsewhere or failed a check.

Sometimes a learner needs to skip ahead because they've already done the training elsewhere, or go back because they failed a check.

  1. On the course's Modules list, or on a step in the course flow, open the ⋯ menu on the module you want them to go to.
  2. Choose Move learners here….
  3. The top of the dialog shows who's on this module now. Below it, search for the learners you want to move. Each one is marked Ahead, Behind or New (not started).
  4. Tick the learners and choose Move.

They start from the first slide of that module the next time they open the course. Tick Email them the link to send them straight there.

Moving someone back

If anyone you've picked is past this module, the dialog explains what they'll lose: those modules are marked not done, and their quiz scores and the time recorded against them are cleared. Their total time on the course is kept. If everyone you've picked is behind or hasn't started, nothing is cleared and there's no warning.
