Update a HubSpot contact property when a learner reaches a step.

A record step that updates a contact in HubSpot. Learners are matched to contacts by email address.

  1. On the HubSpot connection, choose Configure.
  2. Enter:
    • HubSpot token: in HubSpot, go to Settings → Integrations → Private apps and create one. The token doesn't expire.
    • Portal ID: shown in your HubSpot account menu.
    • Contact property: the internal name of the property to update, for example howio_certified. Find it under Settings → Properties → Contact properties.
  3. Save.
