Open a module after a delay

You can space a course out so each module opens a set number of days after the one before.

1. Select the module step and open Access.
2. Turn on Email this module out.
3. Set the number of days, for example 3 days after they join the course.

The days count from when the learner finishes the step before (or joins the course, for the first step). Until then the module is locked and the learner sees, for example, Opens in 3 days. When it opens, they get an email using the step's heading, description and image. Choose Preview the email to see it, and edit the wording on Learner's card.

This only works on module steps.

If you add a step before it

The delay counts from whatever step is now before it. If you add a new module ahead of a module that opens 3 days later, it now opens 3 days after the new module. The message after you add the step tells you what moved.
