Branch on score

Send learners on or back depending on their score, for example pass at 8 out of 10, else repeat.

What happens next on a step decides where learners go after it. By default everyone continues to the next step.

  1. Select the step and open What happens next.
  2. Under Decide by, choose Their score on this module, how many they answered, or nothing at all.
  3. Set the rules, for example:
    • 8 or more → Continue to step 02
    • Below 8 → Repeat this step
  4. Choose ＋ Add a rule for more.

Rules are checked top to bottom. Anything that doesn't match a rule continues to the next step. The collapsed section shows a summary, such as Pass at 8/10, else repeat.

The step's Variable ID is at the bottom of the section, with Copy.
