Ask for a document or image

Have learners upload a file or photo before they carry on, and review it if you need to.

1 min read

Use this when a learner needs to send you something before they continue: a certificate, a signed form or a photo of their work.

  1. Choose +, then Advanced ›, then Request a document or image. You can also search for "upload", "document", "evidence" or "photo".
  2. Under What to ask for, write a heading and instructions.
  3. Choose what to accept: Images (JPG, PNG, HEIC), PDF, Word or Any file, and how many files.
  4. Turn on Let them take a photo on mobile to open the camera instead of the file picker.
  5. Under Before they move on, choose:
    • Accept it straight away: the learner carries on as soon as the upload finishes.
    • Someone reviews it: the learner waits here until a reviewer approves. Choose who reviews under Reviewed by.

With review on, What happens next has a path for approved uploads and one for rejected ones. Rejected uploads go back to the learner with your note.

Uploads on the step shows how many have come in and how many are waiting for review, and opens the review queue.
