Set up a certificate

Design a course's certificate and choose what's on it, when it's issued and when it expires.

  1. Open the course and go to Certificate.
  2. Choose Edit design to change the certificate's layout. Preview shows it as a learner will see it.
  3. Choose what's on the certificate and how it's issued:
    • Learner name
    • Auto-issue on completion: issue it as soon as a learner meets every rule.
    • Expires after, for example 12 months.
    • Unique certificate ID, so anyone can check it's genuine.
    • Add to learner's wallet, so they can keep it on their phone.

The top of the page shows whether the course is Issuing and how many certificates have been issued.
