Translate a module
Add a language to a module and translate its text, slide by slide, while the media stays shared.

A module has one set of slides and a separate layer of text for each language. Media, design, embeds, interactive settings and the correct quiz answer are shared across all languages. Only the text is translated.
- Choose the language button in the top bar, next to the desktop and mobile toggle.
- Pick a language, or choose + Add language. The list shows how many slides each language has translated.
- A blue bar confirms which language you're editing. Each field shows its English text underneath for reference.
- Type over the greyed-out English and save with Save translation, ⌘ S, or by clicking away. That text is saved for this language only.
- Next untranslated › takes you to the next slide that still needs text.
The slide rail shows each slide's state in the current language: Translated, Partly translated, Not translated or English changed.
What gets translated: slide titles and body text, quiz questions, answers and feedback, annotation labels and subtitles.
When the English changes: a slide edited in English after it was translated is marked English changed and counted in the language list. The old translation stays live until someone updates it.
What learners see: the module in their chosen language. Any slide without a translation shows in English.
