A voiceover is a short video of you talking, shown in a circle over the slide's scene. It's in the Voiceover section of the inspector, which opens once the slide is interactive.

Record it in the editor

  1. Open Voiceover and choose Record.
  2. Pick your Camera and Microphone.
  3. After the countdown, talk through what's on screen. The circle sits over the scene exactly where learners will see it. Use Pause if you need a moment.
  4. Choose Stop. The take plays back straight away.
  5. Choose Keep take to save it, or Retake to discard it and record again.

Nothing is saved until you keep a take. Kept takes go on the slide and into your media library, for example vo-rainwater-harvest.webm.

Use a video you already have

  1. In Voiceover, choose Choose video.
  2. Pick from Media library (filtered to video) or Upload an MP4, MOV or WEBM.
  3. Hover a clip to preview it in the circle without applying it. Select it to apply.

You can apply an upload while it's still processing.
